CHURCH OF ALL NATIONS -PASTOR MARK D. BOYKIN- REACH WORLD WITH”CRECHE CONTROVERSY"

(December 25th, 2009)   As Christians everywhere celebrated the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, Church of All Nations  Pastor Mark D. Boykin reached the world.

Beginning on Thursday, December 17th, Church of All Nations Senior Pastor Mark D. Boykin placed the original crèche underneath the Christmas tree inside the foyer of the downtown Boca Raton public library.  The event was streamed on bocachurchofallnations.com and broadcast live on AM Radio 1230 WBZT.  In addition, the Sun Sentinel and Channel 25 WPBF covered the story

On Tuesday, December 22nd, city officials removed the crèche and placed it in the lost and found. Pastor Boykin and over twenty five Church of All Nations and city residents delivered an additional two dozen crèches to the downtown library.

As interested participants gathered  to bring additional crèches,  the story attracted local, national and international news interest.

Following this controversy, NBC 5 News, CBS 12 News, ABC 25 News, and Fox 29 News were all present at the library for a 12 noon live report. Over the next several days, the Sun Sentinel and Palm Beach Post wrote follow up stories regarding the "Crèche Controversy". On December 23rd, Fox News (national) arrived in Boca Raton to lend additional coverage to this escalating event.

On December 24th, the "Crèche Controversy" went global!

Beginning at 10:00 AM EST, Fox News reported this story on their station every hour on the hour.  By 12 noon, CNN, MSNBC, Reuters, Associated Press, Bloomberg News, BBC, Univision International, Telemundo International and Televisa aired this story.

This kind of response reveals the power of prayer and the affect Christians can have when they bind together in a spirit of unity and activate their faith as one.

FOX News Network paid a visit to the city of Boca Raton to interview Church of All Nations Senior Pastor Mark Boykin regarding the "Crèche Controversy."

Following the back and forth between the city of Boca Raton and Church of All Nations, local news affiliates, the Associated Press and now Fox News have visited this escalating event.

After the original crèche was placed in the lost and found, Pastor Boykin called on his constituents to bring their own crèches to place beneath the Christmas tree in the library foyer.

Vowing to stand guard to protect the nativity scenes from further abuse, the crèches were taken home as the library closed and returned under the tree on Wednesday where Pastor Boykin continued his vigil.

In addition, the group paid a visit to city hall where they were greeted by the Assistant City manager. As a standoff in constitutional case references became apparent, Pastor Boykin and his followers returned to the public library to do some final  footage for the forthcoming coverage by Fox News. COAN Senior Pastor Mark D. Boykin is interviewed by a WPBF 25 reporter regarding the crèche' controversy. A bit dated, but right on the money considering the events that transpired over the weekend. Listen to the prophetic words of Pastor Boykin as he explains the long standing bias of Boca Raton city hall against Christians.

Tuesday December 22nd will be a historic day for Church of All Nations and also for the leadership of the City of Boca Raton.
