But the greatest thing of all was the 50 plus individuals who decided now was the time to accept Jesus for the forgiveness of their sins and the opportunity for a new beginning through His grace and love.

There were tremendous moments of worship and the message prepared by Senior Pastor Mark D. But Sunday’s superstar was the Holy Spirit and His sovereign move that made this day so spectacular.

The greatest miracle of all continues to be when a sinner comes to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and publicly confesses Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives.

With the advent of “Answer the Call” it was encouraging to see the transformed lives and pure joy of a changed heart. “Answer the Call” seeks to be the conduit for changes such as the ones witnessed Sunday throughout the world. With a million souls a year in sight, “Answer the Call” is poised to position itself as a major player in the kingdom of God for the next decade and beyond.

COSTA RICA ANSWERS THE CALL WITH 390 SALVATIONS

The Central American country of Costa Rica was blessed as Church of all Nations resident evangelist and Central and South American representative Rev. Jorge Lopez ministered the word of God to this beautiful country and its wonderful citizens.

The trip began in the city of Rio Jimenez. The Holy Spirit brought 65 salvations forward while many others were filled with the Holy Spirit. Numerous praise reports of healing were given following the service.
While ministering in Iglesia Ciudad de Bendicion (City of Blessings Church) in the city of Heredia, the congregation was blessed during both Sunday services as the Lord’s spirit moved, saving and filling people throughout the service.

On Sunday afternoon Rev. Jorge Lopez spoke at the Youth Crusade in the City of Santa Barbara. More than 1,600 young peoples’ lives were touched through the power of God. The evangelistic team of Rev. Lopez and special guest, “Mike Caraballo’s Praise and Worship Group” were able to combine their resources for a great time in the Lord! Mike Caraballo’s Praise and Worship Group is currently a member of CMI and have pledged their support for South America and the Answer the Call vision.

During the Youth Crusade, 200 young people came to know Jesus Christ as their personal savior and were motivated to make a change in their cities. The power of God ministered His amazing glory during this event.

Following the Youth Crusade, Rev. Lopez spoke in the City of Miramar, located in northern part of Costa Rica. The Lord visited this city in a very interesting way. It was a great moment for the church where the congregation experienced a refreshing of the Holy Spirit.

The final night of the trip Rev. Jorge ministered at the Iglesia Manantial de Vida (River of Life Church) in the city of Esparza. Iglesia Manantial de Vida is led by Senior Pastor Jorge Luis Soto. The presence of God was supernaturally manifested as God revealed a very special blessing over Pastor Soto’s life. He too has pledged his support for Answer the Call in Costa.

RUSSIA CHINA ON BOARD WITH ANSWER THE CALL

In what can best be described as a sovereign move of the Holy Spirit, Church of all Nations, “Answer the Call”, received historical support from two major players within the international Christian broadcasting community.

During the recent NRB (National Religious Broadcasters) conference held in Nashville, TN., the contingent from Church of all Nations, including Martin Camacho and IPoint TV’s Clark Ortiz, negotiated a blockbuster deal.
Already heavily vested in the United States with television broadcast coverage, the countries of Russia and India have pledged their support to partner with Church of all Nations and more specifically, the vision of Senior Pastor Mark D. Boykin. As things explode exponentially across the globe, Church of all Nations is quickly becoming known as, “Church of the Nations.”

In the central Russian country of Kazakhstan, “Answer the Call” has the opportunity to partner with CNL (Russia Christian Television), which currently have 4 satellites and 500-cable stations at their disposal and the potential of reaching 115 countries with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ!

In the country of India, even larger numbers await, “Answer the Call”. With a mighty harvest already in full bloom, India is a country of unlimited potential. The television administrators of Cross TV India have the capacity to reach not only millions but billions of television viewers.
Statistically speaking, Cross TV estimates they can reach 40 million homes within the first four months and 1.2 billion homes the first year!

These news developments represent nothing short of a miracle. With the initial goal of 1 million souls saved and discipled per year for the next 10 years and the enlistment of I million prayer partners, “Answer the Call”, this news is not only a great foundational beginning but also a confidence builder for everyone involved with the “Answer the Call” movement here in the United States.

SCHOOL PRAYER BILL LIKELY TO BE LAW

By Kathleen Haughney Tallahassee Bureau

7:28 p.m. EST, March 1, 2012
TALLAHASSEE – Children across the state may soon have the right to offer organized prayer — or, critics say, political messages or even Satanic verses — at mandatory school events.

The Florida House voted 88-27 Thursday to give final approval to a bill that allows school boards to set policies that would allow students to offer "inspirational messages" at school events, including mandatory gatherings such as student assemblies. The bill now goes to Gov. Rick Scott.

Scott didn't give a firm yes or no when asked Thursday whether he would sign the bill, but he is expected to do so. "I haven't seen the bill, but I believe in Jesus Christ, and I believe individuals should have a right to say a prayer," he said.

The vote ends several years of effort by Sen. Gary Siplin, D-Orlando, and Rep. Charles Van Zant, R-Keystone Heights, who has a Masters of Divinity and who also attended Western Baptist Theological Seminary. Siplin's measure passed the Senate a week ago.

Van Zant said that the bill was not about prayer, but about "inspirational" messaging and free speech. He also said student-crafted messages — faculty and staff are banned from involvement — would bring a tone of respect and civility to the classroom.

He noted that much has happened — for the worse — in the 50-plus years since the U.S. Supreme Court banned compulsory prayer in schools.

"Before we removed inspirational messages, the No. 1 problem was talking out of turn," Van Zant said. "Now, it's drug abuse."

But opponents said the proposal is a pathway to costly litigation for school boards.

"The only message we're going to be sending is 'Hello, school boards; get our your check books,'" said Rep. Irv Slosberg, D-Boca Raton.

The "inspirational messages" bill was one of several considered by the House on Thursday that dealt with hot-button social issues. The others included:

• An omnibus abortion bill that imposes a 24-hour waiting period for an abortion, requires that new abortion clinics be owned by physicians and further restricts third-trimester abortions. Though the bill passed by a 78-33 vote, a companion measure is bottled up in Senate committee and is unlikely to be voted on in that chamber.

• A statewide ban on Internet cafes, which House sponsor Rep. Scott Plakon, R-Longwood, called a "predatory" form of gambling. The measure, which passed 72-43, would shut down the more than 1,000 Internet cafes that have been popping up in shopping centers and strip malls across the state. But the Senate wants to regulate — not ban — the cafes, while the Seminole Tribe of Florida says such regulation would violate its monopoly on gambling. So the likely result is nothing will pass. MORE

To them, the death of a controversial casinos bill last month in the Florida Legislature was only a setback.

"It's the same at pretty much every state," said Gregory Roselli, an analyst for UBS Securities, at the annual Florida Gaming Summit at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. "It takes a few years, but the bill gets further and further along until it passes."
Roselli, who follows the gambling industry, cited Massachusetts and Ohio as states that took years to get casinos.

Even some officials at South Florida's pari-mutuels agree that a destination casinos law is inevitable.
"I think everybody in this room knows it's just a matter of time before it passes," Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino President Tim Ritvo said. "We've drawn up different diagrams, different looks, as we wait to see how the legislation shakes out."

Magic City Casino COO Scott Savin agreed that destination casinos will become part of Florida's landscape, but said it will take "five years at the earliest."

"They'll get what they want," he added. "They have enough money."

Savin noted that Magic City and other horse tracks, dog tracks and jai-alai frontons are fine with destination casinos, as long as they, too, will be taxed no more than 10 percent on slots and will be allowed to offer the same games.

"I don't think [passing a casinos bill is] an easy road, but I don't think it's impossible," said Andy Abboud, vice president for Las Vegas Sands Corp., which wants to build a convention center with a casino here.

Fewer mistakes
Analyst John Kempf of RBC Capital Markets said bill proponents, such as Genting Malaysia Berhad, will make fewer mistakes next year. Genting rolled out glitzy renderings and spent $500 million for property along Miami's shoreline.

"You have to get people comfortable with it," he said. "You can't just have Genting saying, 'Things will be this way.' "
Roselli added: "They pushed a little too hard."

Genting representatives didn't attend the summit, but general counsel Jessica Hoppe said she was encouraged that the legislation cleared a Senate committee. "Multiple public opinion polls also show that the more Floridians learn about destination resorts, the more likely they are to support bringing these developments to Florida," Hoppe said.
But the opposition will remain steadfast, said John Sowinski, president of No Casinos.

"They certainly won't give up, and we certainly must remain vigilant, but no matter how much lipstick they try to put on their pig, it is still a big, smelly pig," he said. "Florida is different than most states that they have beaten into submission. We are a world leader in family-friendly tourism, and people know we would kill the goose that lays the golden egg if we legalized mega-casinos."

Legislative challenges
Also, people underestimate the amount of legislative compromise that's required, said former representative Bill Galvano, who engineered the largest piece of gambling legislation in 2010, which brought the state $1 billion in revenue from the Seminole Tribe of Florida and lowered the slot tax on pari-mutuels. He notes that infighting plagues the pari-mutuel industry, pointing to a lawsuit filed by three casinos in Miami-Dade County that are trying to block a state law that added Hialeah.

"I've never encountered an industry so interested in what the other guy doesn't get, as opposed to getting what they want," said Galvano, who is running for the Florida Senate.

Chad Beynon, an analyst with Macquarie Capital, says the better the economy, the less the chances of a casino bill's passage.
"If we're back down to 9 percent unemployment, and the economy improves, it becomes that much more difficult to slip through," he said.

The Florida Supreme Court has yet to determine whether it will hear an appeal to overturn the ruling that allowed Hialeah slots. That ruling stated that the Legislature has the power to make decisions regarding gambling expansion. Abboud noted that without that ruling, Sands and other companies would not have a means to be approved.

Panelists also noted that the battle for gambling in Florida extends back decades. In 1986, voters approved the lottery, but not a measure to allow casinos. In 2004, only 50.8 percent of state voters backed referendums in Broward and Miami-Dade counties, and in 2005, Miami-Dade voters then turned around and shot down that county referendum.
nsortal@tribune.com, 954-356-4725.

HELLO AFRICA AND EUROPE

GETTING READY FOR ATC

HISPANIC PASTORS AGAINST GAMBLING

“PASTOR MARK D.
Members of All Nations Church protest Boca Raton ban of holiday decorations

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Members of All Nations Church in Boca Raton took to the streets Tuesday to protest city rules regarding holiday decorations.

The group marched from their church on 4th Avenue to City Hall with crèches in hand, upset the small nativity scenes cannot be displayed publicly inside the city building.

Pastor Mark Boykin calls the move a civil rights violation, saying the city is denying the recognition of Christmas.

A few weeks ago, the City of Boca Raton decided not to have any holiday decorations inside City Hall or public libraries in an effort to avoid upsetting the group.

But the Mayor admitted Tuesday that was a mistake. She says there will be protestors regardless what city leaders decide, and she's also heard from many residents who miss the decorations.

In an about-face, the city voted Monday night to permit holiday symbols inside city buildings that the U.S. Supreme Court deems allowable. It includes Christmas trees or Hanukkah menorahs.

The Supreme Court says both those symbols don't necessarily signify religion.

But that isn't enough for members of the Church of All Nations who feel they have the right to display the crèche and other religious symbols anywhere.

The City of Boca Raton has set aside a place for all religious decorations in Sanborn Square off Federal Highway. That is a place where nativity scenes and Jewish symbols like the Star of David are allowed. GALLERY

PASTOR CONTINUES CRUSADE

Mark Boykin Leads Parishioners, Others In Procession To City Hall

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- A Boca Raton pastor is back at it again in his fight to get a Christmas crèche, or nativity scene, at City Hall.

Mark Boykin, a pastor at the Church of All Nations, was leading the "March of the Crèche" to City Hall on Tuesday. Ellyn Bodganoff, R-Fort Lauderdale, from being approved in the legislative session that starts in January.

With so many opponents and hurdles, a 2-percent chance sounds right.
Even if the bill gets through a Legislature that's been historically anti-gambling, socially conservative and fiercely protective of Central Florida's theme parks and convention business, there's no telling what Gov. Rick Scott would do when it lands on his desk. He likes jobs and new business, but in a recent meeting with the Sun Sentinel editorial board he made clear his personal aversion to gambling. Still, the proposal to allow three Las Vegas-style resort casinos in Broward and Miami-Dade counties, and the jockeying among major casino companies to our Florida market, has been entertaining.

Among the funniest parts:
--Seeing a former gambling opponent like Bogdanoff turn into a cheerleader for the big casino firms, making nonsensical arguments about this not really being a gambling expansion. Please. It's a gambling expansion. That's not necessarily a bad thing. But let's be honest about it.

--Seeing a gambling executive like Dan Adkins of Mardi Gras Casino in Hallandale Beach turn into a gambling opponent, at least when it comes to this bill. That's because of the potential imbalance of having new competition with a 10 percent tax rate while slot machines at South Florida's parimutuel "racinos" like Mardi Gras remain taxed at 35 percent.

--Seeing the Genting Group of Asia arrogantly get way ahead of itself, buying a prime piece of waterfront land in downtown Miami and unveiling plans for a monstrously large casino before having one shred of legislative or zoning approval. With 5,200 hotel rooms, dozens of restaurants and more casino space than several of the largest Vegas resorts combined, the proposed design also features six cascading glass towers meant to resemble a coral reef over Biscayne Bay.

My favorite reaction to Genting's renderings came from humorist Dave Barry.
"One word – hurricane," Barry said in a radio interview. "There'll be pieces of glass landing in Atlanta from that thing."
Genting certainly threw caution to the winds with its brash vision, but now there's a backlash. Scaling back and dialing down the big promises of jobs, revenue and guaranteed visitors would seem a wiser course.
After all, there's no such thing as a sure thing. Just look at Dania Jai-Alai, where the house has taken a beating in recent years.

Las Vegas-based Boyd Gaming bought the fronton and its slots license for $152.5 million in 2006, making big promises about jobs and redevelopment. County commissioners on Tuesday will consider adding a referendum to next year’s presidential election ballot that would ask voters to weigh allowing slots at pari-mutuel facilities.

A final vote of the commission is set for Dec. 20. Upon approval by commissioners and then voters, slot machines would be allowed at the track, the county’s only pari-mutuel. Seven pari-mutuels in Broward and Miami-Dade counties have voter-approved slots. A 2009 amendment to the Florida Constitution allowed the two counties to conduct referendums on whether to allow the machine.

-Seeing a gambling executive like Dan Adkins of Mardi Gras Casino in Hallandale Beach turn into a gambling opponent, at least when it comes to this bill.

Well, the results were LOUD and CLEAR, 97% said NO, she should NOT
apologize for publicly stating her support of marriage as one man, one
woman. Thank you for your participation!

Here are the results of other recent online polls we have conducted:

Should House Republican leaders cave in to President Obama's demands
and raise the debt ceiling again? –

19.9% Yes
77.0% No
3.1% Not Sure

Now that the Republicans have won a majority in the U.S. House of
Representatives and have gained six seats in the U.S. Senate, what is
the first thing they should do? –

20.0% Create jobs and help small business?
20.0% Cut spending and taxes?
60.0% Repeal Obamacare and Hate Crimes legislation?

Should Florida judges who overturned state law protecting orphaned
children from adoption by a homosexual be impeached? –

87.9% Yes, they clearly are over-stepping their authority and
legislating from the bench.

2.1% Not sure - this could go either way.
10.0% No, the law violated the rights of others and therefore it was
a good ruling

Recently we heard the State of The Union address from our President.
What was your impression? –

0.0% I was encouraged and think that things will now turn around.
75.0% I was discouraged. It was the same old rhetoric, lots of empty
promise!
25.0% I didn't watch or hear anything about it! It is just politics
as usual!

City Attorney Gets it Wrong!

MIAMI-Today, the Christian Family Coalition, (CFC), Florida's
tireless human rights and social justice organization, announced that
the Plantation city council has REJECTED "warnings" from the ACLU and
their own attorney, to take down their legal holiday displays!

"Rather, the Plantation city council did the right thing and followed
the advice of the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) and the Christian Family
Coalition, (CFC), in a letter urging Mayor Bendekovic and the entire
Plantation city council to keep their legal holiday display intact,
this is truly a victory for freedom", stated Anthony Verdugo, Founder
and Executive Director, Christian Family Coalition, (CFC).

Unfortunately, Plantation City Attorney Don Lunny, continuously
ignored the wise counsel offered to him by both the Alliance Defense
Fund (ADF) and the Christian Family Coalition (CFC) and, as a result,
has publicly and needlessly embarrassed himself when his client, the
city of Plantation, ignored his own "legal" advice to "put aside"
these legal holiday displays. MORE

PLANTATION— Joseph, Mary and the Baby Jesus have no business posing in a public park — even if they're accompanied by a Hanukkah menorah.

"Inappropriate" is the word the Broward chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union uses to describe the holiday display planned for Liberty Tree Park.

It's like Christmas in July, with all the traditional trimmings: squabbles over religious displays in super-sensitive South Florida.

The ACLU, in a letter to city officials, warned that displaying a Nativity scene and menorah violates the separation of church and state. The problem, the rights group said, is that the city is advocating for two religions while ignoring all the others.

"We feel it's a violation of the First Amendment and an endorsement of religion," said the ACLU's Barry Butin. "If they were really neutral and didn't favor one over the other, they'd have a more inclusive display: Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist."

Butin didn't mention the Wiccan religion, whose symbol presumably would be a broomstick.

The ACLU has already warned Plantation — twice — against setting up religious displays. It was acting on a complaint from an unidentified board member who doesn't live in Plantation but photographed the creche and menorah one Christmastime. MORE

PASTORS SERMON ON GAY MARRIAGE

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Many believe legalizing gay marriage in New York brings new life to the national gay rights movement and it’s caused one Boca Raton pastor to host services in hopes to stop that movement from coming to Florida.

Church of All Nations Pastor Mark D. Boykin held two services titled “Gay Marriage: The New Morality?” Sunday morning looking to unite those to stay vigilant against legislators who want to legalize homosexual marriage in Florida.

"For two men to live together and have carnal relations or two women to be together and have carnal relations, we believe that is a sin," Boykin said.

At Church of Our Savior, MCC they don’t feel the same way. click below link for more

For the past decade, conservative activist Joe Kaufman has suggested a Syrian-born professor at Florida Atlantic University may have terrorist connections. Bassem Al-halabi, an associate professor of engineering, has no criminal convictions, and he has supporters of all faiths at FAU who say his views are closer to pacifism than terrorism.

But Kaufman, keeping his effort alive, organized a protest in front of FAU on Thursday, urging the university to fire him.

BOCA RATON – About 50 protestors stood at the entrance to Florida Atlantic University on Thursday and called for the firing of a Syrian engineering professor they claim has terrorist ties.

Meanwhile, across campus, about 50 students gathered to support professor Bassem alHalabi. AlHalabi has worked at FAU since 1996. The university issued a statement Wednesday supporting him.

Joe Kaufman of Americans Against Hate, who describes himself as an investigative journalist, targeted alHalabi more than a decade ago. According to Kaufman, alHalabi has several connections to terrorist groups, including the Islamic Center of Boca Raton, of which he was a co-founder. Kaufman says the center was bankrolled by Saudi Arabians.

THURSDAY, APRIL 14, 2011, 11:45 a.m.
Florida Atlantic University (Main Entrance)
777 Glades Road in Boca Raton, Florida

Mr. Bassem Alhalabi was research assistant to Sami Al-Arian and wrote a number of publications with him. According to U.S. Department of Justice documents, Al-Arian, was sentenced to 57 months in prison for assisting a terrorist group. In his guilty plea, Al-Arian admitted that “he and a several of his co-conspirators were associated with the Palestian Islamic Jihad, knowing that the PIJ had been designated as a Specially Designated Terrorist and that it engaged in horrific and deadly acts of violence.”

Mr. Bassem Alhalabi is also associated with the Islamic Center of Boca Raton (ICBR). It’s first imam, Ibrahim Dremali, was a representative of the Southeastern Division of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA-SE), an organization that was asking its followers to give material support to groups associated with al-Qaeda. Mr. Dremali was arrested in October 2010 on immigration related charges. The imam who replaced Dremali at ICBR was also arrested in May 2003. ICBR’s spokesman was arrested in July 2005, and one of ICBR’s founding directors was also the creator of the official website of al-Jamiya al-Islamia, the Gaza parent organization of Hamas. ICBR member Rafiq Sabir was also convicted of supporting al-Qaeda.

“We have an individual teaching at FAU, who supports organizations that want to destroy both the United States and Israel,” said Pastor Mark D. Boykin. “He should not be allowed in this country, let alone teach at such a fine institution, and the administration at FAU must begin the necessary proceedings to terminate his employment immediately,” added Pastor Boykin.

Professor Bassem Alhalabi was found guilty of shipping military equipment to Syria by the U.S. Department of Commerce in June 2003 and was arrested on March 22, 2010 for two separate charges of assault and battery.

“We are calling on the FAU administration to terminate the employment of a very dangerous professor who has ties to terrorists,” said Mr. Joe Kaufman, chairman of Americans Against Hate. “There is plenty of documented evidence that shows that Professor Bassem Alhalabi does not merit employment at FAU,” continued Mr. Kaufman.

"It is unconscionable, after all that we know about Mr. Bassem Alhalabi, that the administration at FAU is still allowing him to teach; he represents a national security threat; he must be terminated immediately and be deported from the United States," stated Anthony Verdugo, Founder and Executive Director, Christian Family Coalition.

Church of All Nations was well represented as Team Bahamas ministered to the island nation of the Bahamas. Fire Institute Associate Directors Pastors Fred Louis and Harold Gutierrez, Pastor Roxanne Carter, Rev.Eula Penerman, Reverend Ilda Jolimeau, Minister Ruthlyn Lewis, Casey Palacious, Soledad Hidalgo, Joel Merin and Evangelina Fernandez combined their love for God with their desire to share Jesus with our neighbors east of the Florida shoreline.

The mission’s trip presented a dual blessing, combining the awesome beauty of the Bahamas Islands with times of intense ministry where the spirit of God moved freely and in powerful ways.

While in the Bahamas the team stayed in the city of Freeport. Everywhere Team Bahamas visited there were divine appointments. From bringing a family of seven from Ecuador with them to church, to praying for a parliamentary candidate who “just happened" to be in the area. God continually opened doors of opportunity to share Jesus with those in need.

Fire Institute Associate Director Pastor Fred Louis commented, “The services during the trip were amazing. The anointing of the Holy Spirit moved in every single service and only time will reveal all that God did here through our efforts. Every team member was touched to know that God has a plan for their lives and that they have a ministry. Truly the Fire Institute is becoming a missionary school to the nations! PRAISE THE LORD!!!”

While at the altar, Casey gave a word of knowledge for a woman suffering from depression who to the surprise of all was an immigration officer from the Bahamas. Four people were saved during the service including Casey’s uncle.

Friday Night: Pastor Harold Guitierez preached with conviction bringing words of knowledge for people holding on to past hurts. Numerous people responded by coming forward. Another word of knowledge was given for concerned women regarding their husbands’ eternal security. Several women came forward for prayer with one receiving the baptism in the Holy Spirit. A special prophetic word was given to Bishop Kemp’s grandson regarding his call to missions. The grandson came forward and was slain in the spirit.

As a final prophetic word was spoken regarding the new building under construction, “once the new building is completed leaders around the nation would gather there for prayer. Bishop Kemp confirmed that two other people gave this same word regarding the church.

Sunday Morning: Pastor Fred Louis had the privilege to bring God’s word on the closing day of the outreach. Words of knowledge flowed for heart problems with several women coming forward. Also prophetic words of knowledge were uttered for people suffering with leg problems and five women came forward. One of the women received healing. Words of knowledge were also was given for people dealing with demonic activity.

Overview: Bishop Kemp sent his blessings to Church of All Nations. Bishop Kemp and the church were very gracious, treating the entire team with two meals and much love. gallery
